I threw a casino party for my husbands birthday and it was a huge success!
I used buckets (like at the casinos) and filled with play money, poker chips and cards (fold over cards so they stack losely in the buckets. I also had organza bags that were filled with crumbled money on some tables. We covered the tables in felt (you can also trace/draw layouts for specific tables, blackjack, etc). I had bowls of stemmed red cherries, too which acted as accents on the hor doerves table. Oh, and pretzels everywhere.
On a little more expensive side, you can go to a place like Cookies By Design and have them make cookie bouquets of card suits, dice, cards, etc. Or you could make your own card bouquets with cards and paper money glued back to back on floral wire or pipe cleaners and placed in a bucket with a floral block in the bottom…cover with coins or poker chips.
I had a few friends who played bar tenders and bouncers dressed up in pin stripe pants, button up shirts and vests like dealers and I wore a very tacky bright red sequin gown I found on clearance in a bridal store CHEAP!
The guys passed around cigars and of course there were drink trays that came around often.
The tables that were the best were those that were simple. I also included directions to the games at the tables. You would be suprised who doesn’t know how to play some games so the directions also gave those who were not party-goers something to do and they eventually joined in on the fun!
We rented additional real tables for games but many people played “quarters”, “cards” and “poker” all night long at the dinner tables! It was a great party! Good luck! Have fun!

And party cheap above has lots of decorations tool.
Also, put an instant camera on each table under a tent card. Just make it on the computer and use casino clip art, color and cool fonts. Here is an example: http://www.weddingscenter.com/table-card… We got the cheapest cameras at Aldi’s and the guests take lots of pictures for you and you are surprised to see them when they are developed.
There are many cool centerpiece ideas on the internet too many for me to put here. So here is what you do. Go onto google.On the upper left corner click on images. In the search bar type casino centerpiece and click search images. This will show you pictures of casino centerpieces. You can get ideas from these or if they are for sale you can open the page to see where to order it from.

If you’re a good cook, some sort of pudding in the shape of a roulette thing – is that what it’s called? where you chuck the ball on the wheel and it lands on a number? – like a cake or even a trifle, with pieces of biscuit or chocolate making strips and grapes on top for the ball.
I dunno, be inventive!
