Anyone Have Experienced This When You Play Online Casino?

September 28th, 2009

Last year, I opened an online casino account and deposited about $700-800 using my credit card to play the game at the same day.
I lost all the money but the money was not debited from my credit card and I was little surpirsed. Then, few days later I got an e-mail from them telling me that
“We have tried contacting you telephonically however you were not available.”
“we kindly request that you contact us, to confirm your details registered on your casino account and the transactions made since registration.”
I did not contact them and the money has Not been debited until now.
I may be moving to another country and plan to close all my account here if I move.
Should I still contact them and pay this money before I close my account or even if I don’t close my account? or just Don’t pay it?
and if I don’t pay it do you think it will cause any problem?
Since the day I lost all the money, I never logged on their online site and I did not get any more e-mail or mails telling me to contact them to confirm the transaction although I got some their promotion mails.

Have they still been emailing you? Or just a note a year ago, and nothing since?
Of course you “should” pay them the money, but it wouldn’t appear that they expect to ever get it. I just wouldn’t try to play on that site again.
    Why even “close” the account?

You’re asking whether you should be honest and pay a debt that you incurred fair and square versus skipping the country and cheating the online casino out of their money just because they haven’t figured out how to debit your account?
C’mon, you know the right answer. If you’re looking for “permission” to be dishonest, you’re not going to get it from me.
