They are genuine, most online casinos give a gift bonus to get you to join their site but there will be restrictions on when you get or withdraw any “gift”. Once you have gone through the bother of setting up an account with your real money transferred they know you will gamble it. Some offers look a lot better than they are (the Casino can charge a higher rake than others and some give better rake back offers than others). You need to read the smallprint and read a few reviews of the casino sites.
If you are considering playing cards then you will only make hundreds a day if you beat other players and make them lose hundreds a day. The only people who make a profit out of gambling are the casinos who take a rake out of every hand played (consider it like a tax on every hand you play) and the small number of people who are very good players. Even the top players lose more hands than they win, winning money is about limiting your losses to small amounts when you do lose. Going into gambling thinking you will make hundreds a day rather than a bit of fun is a recipe for disaster because to win hundreds you have to bet hundreds which you probably cant afford to lose.

It is a scam in two stages. First hey will sell you a completely rubbish book that claims to show you the “secrets” of winning on online casinos. The second, they will get you interested and make you lose even more money in that online casino.
I believe that the book will recommend a website which the methods will work for. Guess what? They are partnering with that website. Against a real life human, we still have a chance of winning. Against a computerised computer? No chance. It decides what our cards are, so what can we do at all?
It is a scam. Avoid it with all haste!

If something seems too good to be true, it more often than not is.
Steer clear of these sites that ask for money to receive tips etc. Never give bank details, personal details away unless you know it is a totally safe, secure and a reputable site.
