I think we live in a free country. Gambling is a popular activity for adults, and only a tiny percentage of people who participate actually get ‘hooked.’
We still advertise alcohol all the time, and yet some 13,000 people a year die in alcohol related car crashes.
We allow advertisement of motorcycles, yet last year 5,154 people died in motorcycle accidents.
There are all kinds of things that are ‘dangerous’ in a free adult society. I don’t think that the government should be playing nanny state and banning gambling advertising, because some irresponsible people gamble what they cannot afford to lose.

It’s a legal ‘product’ and is already advertised under strict regulation.
We don’t need more ‘nanny state’ restrictions, thanks.

I suppose they should put effort in for nothing.

  4. Poppyvox Says:

Some people like gambling. I don;t bother with it.
