I’ve had no problems with them. I mainly specialize in online poker sites. They will usually pay a flat fee of $75-$150 per cash player sign up, or a percentage of the profit (rake).
I once signed up a couple of high stakes players and made over $6,000 from them before the Bush administration changed the law and Party Gaming was forced out of the US.
So if you refer enough people you can make some decent money. I recommend a mixture of flat fee and percentage affiliate programs. The main thing is to have a good site that has some real conent, that will encourage people to show up and sign up.
