Just wondering if it’s possible to visit all the sights by foot from here such as; Fremont st, the venetian, stratosphere, bellagio fountain, parisian area etc or do I need to get taxis

Most of the places you mention are on “The Strip”, and they are very walkable. You probably don’t need a taxi. There is a bus available, but I don’t think you’ll need it as a tourist.
You can look up the fares by http://www.taxifarefinder.com

You will be in Las Vegas in late July. Temperatures will most likely exceed 100 F. Be sure to carry a water bottle with you.
Venetian is very close to Harrah’s. You should have no trouble walking there. When you exit the hotel onto the Strip, turn right, pass Casino Royale, and you’re right there.
Bellagio is farther than it looks. Cross the street, walk south a short distance, then go into the Shops at the Forum (Caesars Palace). Walk through Caesars inside, thank whoever it was that invented air conditioning, and you’ll come out not too far from Bellagio. (Use the elevated crosswalk from Caesars to Bellagio.)
Paris is right across the street from Bellagio.
Stratosphere is a very long way from Harrah’s. You’ll also have to go through some “interesting” real estate. Take the bus.
Freemont St is even farther than Stratosphere. The real estate between Stratosphere and Freemont St is even more “interesting”. Take the bus again.

Venetian, bellagio fountain, parisian easy walking distance.
Stratosphere is a long walk. Fremont St is several miles.
There is a bus (called the Deuce) which does not run on a schedule, but it does run 24 hours. At the peak of the day it runs every 7 minutes. For $5 you get a 24 hour pass which allows you unlimited off and on. You can get to all of those locations.
There are two trams that help you in walking up and down the strip. The most useful one connects the Excaliber to the Mandalay Bay (southernmost casino hotel).
It’s about 4 miles from the Mandalay Bay to the Stratosphere, and another 2 miles of fairly blighted urban landscape to Freemont St.

you wouldn’t want to walk from harrahs to fremont street! way to long of a walk. i would suggest taking the monorail to the sahara which is the farthest north it goes and then getting a cab which is about $10 from the sahara to fremont street. stratosphere is right by the sahara so you could get the cab to drop you off there coming back from fremont street. taxi drivers are crazy out there so i wouldn’t take that many rides in them. i even saw a taxi driver get pulled over and arrested and there were people in the back! i know you can get to the mirage by foot from harrahs and i think it is by the venetian too. treasure island is next to mirage, so that is accessible by foot as well. other than that, use the monorail which will take you to all the major hotels/casinos.

The bus on the strip will take you to Fremont st. but be careful as there are a few unsavoury characters lurking about downtown. The bus is $5 for 24hrs. Also, lazy or not, everything in Vegas is BIG not close. With the heat being concidered, bus it. Just pay attention to where you want to get off. If you buy the 24 hr pass you can see much more in less time. I missed alot by walking until my last day. I was in the NYNY. Everything was farther than it seemed. Lastly, dont weae sandals unless they’re REALLY supportive. Tennis or walking shoes. Your gonna thank me for that 1.

Harrahs is right in the middle, opposite ceasars, bellagio and next to Paris and Flamingos – in a fab location.
Re fremont st there is a bus called the ‘deuce’ that rides up and down the strip $5 a day and u can hop on/ off all day, one trip is $2. Its too far to walk to fremont st from Harrahs.
Make sure u go to the buffet breakfast at bellagio one day…yum!

You could see all those except Fremont, if you don’t mind walking a bit. Those are in walking distance and not too far if you aren’t lazy and in good health. I think Fremont street is 15 or so minutes driving from The Strip.

Fremont is too far to walk, you will have to take a taxi, but most of the strip you will be able to walk to, or take the monorail to!

You can always walk, strat/fremont is a bit further north, but walking will only be like 30-40 minutes depenidng on toxicity…

Walk everywhere but to freemont st bus will cost you $2 so it won’t break the bank unless of course you’ve already lost your home on the blackjack table.
