MicroGaming casinos generally have the best reputation. In the few casinos (and they are very rare) where a Microgaming casino has gone under, the software provider has stepped up and sorted out player problems/winnings.
RTG probably have the worst reputation of the bunch simply because they’ve had some quite shady casinos operating with their software and RTG haven’t always been as helpful as they could have been. On the plus side, things have changed quite considerably over recent years and they’re a much stronger brand now than they perhaps have been in the past

These days to compete with the big guys you need at least a million dollars, staff to build run and maintain the site, tens of thousands of dollars worth of servers, and an offshore location to open up. You cannot run one from inside America, it’s illegal.
