    For online gaming, you are playing against the house and other players. So when play, you had to buy credit to play (hence profit for the casino). Like all gambling, there is always a winner and loser(s).

    Have you ever been to a real casino. Pretty much the same thing online. You set up account and deposit your money. People bet, people lose bet, casino keeps peoples money.
