Yup, there is a catch. They simply change the payout a bit.
The dealer takes the push and your BJ only pays even money.
The advatage of seeing the hole card is far outweighed by the reduced return. Remember, the casino will NEVER put out a game where they do not have a strong advantage.
This is a game to draw people in, Never play any game of Blackjack where the dealer takes the push, unless YOU are the dealer! LOL

Also in Black Jack the player is at a disadvantage because he has to act before the dealer.
If you bust and the dealer busts, the dealer always wins, you have to act first so you never know when the dealer is going to bust.

The biggest catch is the dealer wins on all ties except blackjacks. Also blackjacks are only paid even money. The rule changes put the game back into the house’s favor by a 0.5 to 1% margin.http://wizardofodds.com/doubleexposure
