Lets say you deposit $100 and get a $100 bonus with a wagering requirement of $8,000 and a house edge of .52% in blackjack if you play perfect basic strategy.
That gives you an expectation of roughly $58 if you play correctly.
So, do you play the $1 minimum in hopes of minimizing variance and getting as much of the bonus as possible, or do you take some chances and play a little higher, figuring you have an edge so what the heck try and clear the bonus faster?

$200 buy in (total w bonus) with an $8k playthrough requirement is pretty high. $3k-$5k playthrough should be expected.
as far as using basic strategy goes, this is how you’ll grind through the playthrough requirements all while taking aggressive shots at trying to chip up.
so far i have bonus whored several sites and have been able to take $50-$100 and turn it into $3000 or more. my biggest hit was on intercasino last year for $7,200 off a $100 deposit with bonus.
variance doesn’t really play in this too much as you are playing a small sample size.
what i worry about most is when to make my moves. with $200, i would try and play some $1 hand until you are on a streak of about 4-5 losses then start gambling. they can’t win every hand but i have had runs where the dealer wins 16 times in a row.
good luck and be patient.
