Owe Money To Online Casino And Poker? Get In Trouble?

December 13th, 2009

I know I shouldn’t have done any of this but I was really stupid.
anyways what happened was, I used echeck’s to deposit into Pokerstars,Full Tilt Poker and Club World Casino. I owe FTP 50, Pokerstar 100, and CWC 300. I think Pokerstars and CWC has my SSN and CWC even has my drivers license number. the echecks were from my prepaid all access visa card so it’s not connected to any bank account. if I don’t pay off the debt, can they get me into trouble? I wasn’t thinking right, when I did this horrible things. I have no money to pay them. Can they report me? or just let it go since this is nothing compared to their daily profits.

It simply would not be worth it to chase you down over this debt. It may seem like a lot to you, but to them it is nothing. Unless you ripped them off for five figures, it just isn’t worth the potentially bad publicity in going after you for the money.
What will probably happen instead is they will blacklist you as a cheat. A person that agrees to do something and then doesn’t do it.
You will certainly never play at any of those poker rooms again, and it wouldn’t surprise me if they did not share your information with all the other major sites too.
Your online poker days are over, which for you is probably a blessing.

as the saying goes, when you think no one cares about you don’t pay your bills and see who remembers you then. you have to pay the debt off i suggest calling the companies and working off a payment plan otherwise your credit will be toast over $450 and it totally isn’t worth it. learn from this mistake and don’t do it again, good luck.

I doubt they will let it go. Not sure what they can really do about it though if it’s a prepaid card. How the hell did they get your SSN and Drivers license though?

Odds are nothing will ever happen to you. Just don’t expect to play on those sites again without paying them back. They won’t forget.

I don’t know if they’ll go after you or anything like that, but I’m sure they’ll keep it on record and not forget.
