For the guys, definitely a tuxedo, like James Bond. Or go a little wilder with black pants and a plaid sports coat and a straw hat or fedora. Think of movies like Bugsy or Casino for a more classic Las Vegas feel. For the ladies, a nice cocktail gown or something with sequins and a long feather boa. If you are feeling totally risque, go for a showgirl look. Lots of feathers, sequins, fishnets, really high heels and an enormous head dress.
For something a little more casual, you can go with a casino dealer look – black pants and shoes, a white long-sleeve button up shirt and a vest with a bright and wild pattern. Or a cocktail waitress – a short, tight dress in a bright color or matching short shorts (daisy dukes) and halter with high heels.
Or take a look at some Las Vegas themed movies, and dress like characters from them – Ocean’s Eleven, Viva Las Vegas (Elvis, baby), Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, Casino, Bugsy, etc…

It may not be what your looking for, but you could go Casino Royale and dress up in a James Bond theme.
Also you could go really, really cheesy and dress up like a nerdy tourist with a sun visor and fanny pack – or dress in a uniform like a card dealer.

You could have the girls dress in red and the guys dress in black, or vice versa.

Have it be like the roaring twenties, I think that is the correct year. When they had those wonderful beaded dresses dor the women and the men all wore suits and hats and looked so handsome. I think it would be fun.
