Roulette… Has Anyone Ever Used The Red, Black System In An Online Casino?

December 2nd, 2009

not a story about using it online but an interesting story to share for anybody contemplating this system.. or any other roulette system for that matter.
I remember working a very busy shift and was dealing roulette. We have boards where you can view the previous numbers. Many people were playing on the outside bets and were getting frustrated becuase I have hit maybe 7 or 8 red numbers in a row. Some players were doubling up and were getting close to reaching the table max which was £500 betting on black.. after all it was ‘due in’. By spinning maybe 14 or 15 red numbers the table had attracted quite a crowd, with people emptying their wallets onto black In total I had spun 22 red numbers in a row before finally hitting a black number. By this time most people were at the cash desk getting more money out and I dont think anybody managed to recoup their losses.
While I use this as an exaple, obviously this doesnt happen every day. But my advice is to always remember that although the odds are said to be even chance.. on a live game the wheel isnt going to remember what the last colour was! And betting more just to recoup losses is always dangerous xxx

Yes, lots of people, they are called losers. Two things stand in your way of winning using this method, known as the Martingale System. Table limits and your brain. Okay so you start betting at $5, and the table minimum is a $500. You are smarter than the house so you start at $5 and play black every spin…you lose and bet $10, lose and bet $20, 40, 80, 160, 320…uh oh. You can’t double your bet anymore because of the table limits. Now you have lost $635 trying to win a measly $5. You can walk over to the high stakes area and start at $640 to try to reclaim your $5, but all you will do is find more heartbreak. This system produces very small wins and huge losses. Stay away!

Aggressive negative progression roulette systems (doubling your bet after each loss) like the Martingale system, do not work. If you are still tempted to do it anyway. Look at the dangers and some other progression systems at the link below.http://www.fouroulette.com/roulette.htm

Yes, I’m sure people have used every possible system in roulette. And they all go up against the same house advantage.
Some have probably beaten the odds in the short term to win some money as well. But no system is beating the house advantage, it’ll lose long term.

Yes, sure, people use it, but this is one of the oldest and proved wrong systems. There is no winning system for roulette
