Does the stratosphere charge a $150.00 deposit fee before you check in in case of accidents/room service etc……..

From what I can tell, they only require a credit card as a security deposit which means they don’t actually charge anything unless there is an incident. If you book it online they only charge you for the rooms and the resort fee (and taxes). So I don’t think you would have to give $150 up front. They only charge you for the first night’s room and tax as a deposit when you submit your booking online, and you pay the rest when you arrive. Hope this helps!

If a hotel charges you a security deposit, I have never been charged one, then your age tells them you are a major risk of causing damage!

They didn’t, but they require a credit card. Maybe they will if you pay in cash.

I suggest calling the hotel and see how such things are handled.

They do put holds on your credit card, until your stay is over.
