What Is The Best Overall Casino In Las Vegas Regarding Gambling, Partying, Setting?

February 20th, 2010

I think if I had to choose one casino to be at it would be Caesars. Its pretty much in the center of the strip and connected to the Bellagio on one side and the Forum shops on the other side. Then across the street is the Venitian and the Paris/Ballys/Aladdin section. But I also choose Caesars for what it has inside. Its a pretty upscale hotel with many restaurants, bars, clubs and shops. The sports book is one of the best. Pure is one of the famous “celebrity” nightclubs and I even hear the slots are decently loose there. Its not as expensive as the Bellagio/Venitian options but if I was looking to spend a little money Caesars would be the place for me.

For overall experience, the place has everything you need under one roof. From cheap no-frills restaurants and nickel slots, to High Limit areas and Studio 54…you can spend an entire weekend there and never once leave the building.
My favorite area in the complex is the large domed roof area where Studio 54 is….live shows going on constantly, good place to relax with friends and people watch…just a good time overall.

You’re asking one of the most difficult questions in the Las Vegas section. It’s easy to merely agree with one answer citing CAESARS with it’s established reputation over the newer spots & I’m looking forward to returning at the end of the month. But I’m also looking forward to PARISLASVEGAS & NEWYORKNEWYORK, The STATOSPHERE, SLOTS-O-FUN, The FLAMINGO & The GOLDENNUGGET downtown! There’s so many different features that CAESARS ‘wins’ simply because of the ‘STANDARDS’ they continuously display in every aspect of the LasVegas experience. Face it, everyone else strives to be as good as CAESARS & CAESARS routinely already have it down. I’m sure Wynn’s will be great & other major venues are fun but CAESARS & PARISLASVEGAS appeal to me more than Bellagios or Venitian. NEWYORKNEWYORK feels like home but so does the STATOSPHERE. But it’s great to slum it at ALL of the casinos. I’m not ‘into’ pyrimids or Egypt, so naturally Luxor isn’t going to get my vote & neither will places like the Aladdin, Excalibur, Barbary Coast, Frontier, Monte Carlo, Mirage, Treasure Island, Mandalay Bay, Sahara or Ballys. I enjoyed the ORLEANS & will try for the first time places like The Stations & Rio. Did I mention CAESARS? Have a splendid time!
