What Is The Minimum Age To Enter A Casino In Michigan?

October 13th, 2009

I’d like to take my best friend to the MGM Grand in Detroit for her bachelorette party with a big group of girls. A couple of them are 18-20 years old (no one is younger than 18).
I know the minimum age to gamble is 21, but what about just entering the casino? Could they be there with us, if they are not gambling?

Sorry you must be 21 to enter the casino.
You can go to Windsor, where the age is 19, but that may leave out your 18 year old friends.
Call and check: 877-888-2121 (MGM Casino), they may have an idea for you. Ask for a casino host.

You shouldn’t have this bachelorette party at the casino if everyone cannot join in on the gambling. It’s no fun to stand around and watch other people do it. How boring would that be?
I suggest a bachelorette party where everyone can participate and have a good time. Not just the over 21 crowd.

The min. age to get into a casino is usually 21 even if they are not gambling. Doesn’t sound like everyone will be able to go if you have it there. Check with a local club that offers alcohol such as the vfw, Eagles, organizationss like that you could have everyone there and still have fun
